David Pylipow is currently executive vice president, human resources. He oversees all human resources functions and labor relations.
Pylipow joined SUPERVALU in 1998 as vice president, human resources for its Save-A-Lot banner, where he was responsible for leading their human resource functions, including legal, labor relations, government affairs and office services. He later was promoted to senior vice president, human resources and management services.
Before joining SUPERVALU, Pylipow held a series of increasingly responsible positions at Hallmark Cards, Inc., where he worked for 18 years. He left the company as director, employee relations.
Pylipow has a B.S. in business administration from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
