In a world where grocery stores are increasingly defined by the niche they fall into (big discounters, high-end markets, mom and pops) can a store really be all things to all people? Scott's Food & Pharmacy, headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, thinks so. Scott's is dedicated to quality products, wide variety, world-class service and, most importantly, low prices.
Don Scott opened the first Scott's store in 1954. In 1963 he joined partner Bill Reitz and together they built Scott's into the dominant grocery store chain in northeast Indiana. Scott's joined SUPERVALU in 1991 and now consists of 18 stores.
Newly remodeled stores provide shoppers with a cleaner, fresher, easier shopping experience with better products and a greater variety than they've ever seen from any other chain in the area.
