SUPERVALU®'s Retail Accounting Services has partnered with Skylight Financial to enable you to increase your electronic payment percentage. The Skylight debit card can be used to pay employees that are unbanked or who want an electronic alternative to direct deposit. The card can also be used to supplement direct deposit to eliminate or reduce paper checks. With the Skylight Paycard, you can also use the Retail Accounting Service's Online Wage Statements to eliminate or reduce paper paystubs. As an added bonus, when you participate in this program, we will waive your direct deposit fees.

Benefits of using the Skylight Paycard Program:

  • Go Green! Save paper when checks or paystubs are reduced or eliminated.
  • Employees' money is in their account and ready to be used by 8:00am CT on their Friday paydate.
  • Online Wage Statements offers employees the ability to view paystubs on-line; they are available for up to three years.
  • Alleviates problems with lost or delayed payroll due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Convenient for retailers and employees --eliminating or reducing the number of pay stubs-also reduces the amount of time spent at the store level to hand out checks on payday.
  • Total net amount of employees' payroll can be billed on your retailer's statement.

Employee benefits of the Skylight Paycard:

  • Allows unbanked employees to access their money on payday without fees.
  • Avoid check-cashing and money-order fees.
  • Skylight Checks are available for employees to make rent or other miscellaneous payments as needed. Or the employee can write a check to themselves.
  • Use just like any other debit card to make free pin or signature based transactions such as retail merchant purchases, cash back at point-of-sale, internet purchases, reservations, etc.
  • FDIC Insured and Regulation E Compliant.
  • No credit or background check is required.
  • Can be replaced immediately if lost or stolen.
  • Employees can receive text message alerts for deposits or balance information.
